Breakfast Toast Casserole: Hawaiian Toast & German Toast

Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices bread
  • 6 slices ham
  • 14 slices cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices pineapple
  • 3 eggs
  • 2.5 fl oz cream
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 24 breakfast sausage links
  • 12 oz sauerkraut
  • 2 oz mustard
  • 7 oz Swiss cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F. Heat a pan on medium with a little oil or butter. Add the eggs, cream, salt, pepper, and paprika to a medium bowl and whisk together. Dunk each slice of bread in the egg mixture, soaking both sides.
  • Place each bread slice in the pan, one at a time, and cook on both sides until golden brown.
  • Layer each piece of toast with a slice of cheddar, a slice of ham, a slice of pineapple, and a second piece of cheddar. Repeat with the rest of the toast slices and place them in a casserole dish with 4 toast stacks on each side. Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Brush each slice of toast with mustard, followed by a handful of sauerkraut, 4 sausages, and a small handful of Swiss cheese. Repeat with the rest of the toast slices and place them in a casserole dish with 4 toast stacks on each side. Bake for 20 minutes.
