Anyone who wants to eat a burger can look forward to a well-seasoned ground beef patty between two soft halves of a burger bun. Cuisine American
Servings 1 portion

Equipment

  • Pan

Ingredients

  • 250 g ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • salt and pepper
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 slices cheese
  • 1 beef tomato
  • 1 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 2 leaves lettuce (e.g. romaine lettuce)
  • 2 slices cucumber

Instructions

  • Add the chopped onion to the ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Mix the ingredients with a fork and then shape the meat into two equally sized burgers.
  • Heat some oil in a pan, and fry the burgers until both sides are brown. Once you've flipped the burgers, place a slice of cheese on each one, so it can melt while the burgers cook on the other side.
  • Chop a beef tomato in half and remove the seeds from the bottom half. Spoon some barbecue sauce into the dip left behind. Cover the sauce with the lettuce leaves, then place one of the burgers on top. Then place the cucumber slices on top of the burger, before covering them with the second burger and lastly, the top half of the tomato.
