Normally when we think about food and hair the associations aren’t very appetizing — the last thing we want is to find a follicle in our fillet! But with this next recipe we’ve put a “twist” on the hair and food combination by braiding the meat to create a yummy and — dare I say — stylish dish. Here’s one we call the Marinated Tenderloin Twist…
Marinated Tenderloin Twist
Ingredients
- 1 pork tenderloin
- potatoes
- olive oil
- rosemary, chopped
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
Instructions
- Mix all of the marinade ingredients together.
- Cut the tenderloin lengthwise into three equal-sized pieces, but don't cut right to the end. Now braid the three pieces and baste the tenderloin with marinade.
- Mix the potatoes with olive oil, rosemary, and salt.
- Place the potatoes and the marinated tenderloin on an oven tray and bake for 30 minutes at 375° F.
