Spicy Potato Balls with Yogurt Dip

- 14 oz potatoes peeled and boiled
- 1.5 oz onion chopped
- 6 oz bread crumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp cilantro chopped
- 0.5 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp flour
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- oil for cooking
- 0.5 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp cilantro chopped
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch sugar
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
Instructions
- Mash the potatoes and mix them with the onion, half the bread crumbs, salt, cumin, cilantro, and ginger.
- Pick out small portions from the potato dough and use your hands to shape them into small balls.
- Mix a tablespoon of flour with water, and separately add the chili flakes to the rest of the bread crumbs. First, dip the balls in the flour water and then roll them in the bread crumbs.
- Fry the balls in hot oil, making sure to turn them so they are cooked all over.
- To prepare the dip, simply mix all the ingredients together.
