Equipment

  • Loaf Pan

Ingredients

  • 2.75 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1.33 cups Greek yogurt
  • 12 oz pulled pork
  • 0.5 yellow bell pepper, chopped
  • 0.5 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1.25 cups BBQ sauce
  • 0.25 cup chopped chives
  • 1.75 cups shredded mozzarella
  • Extra chives
  • Extra BBQ sauce

Instructions

  • Combine the flour and baking powder, then stir in the Greek yogurt. Knead the mixture by hand until a smooth dough forms, cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rest in a warm place for 20 minutes.
  • Combine the pulled pork, chopped bell peppers, shredded cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, and chives.
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F and grease a loaf pan. Roll the dough out into a rectangle that is approximately 18 x 12 inches. Cut the dough into 18 equally-sized pieces, spoon the BBQ pulled pork filling onto each section, and sprinkle 1 cup of the shredded mozzarella over the individual sections of dough.
  • Position the greased loaf pan vertically and stack the covered pieces of dough inside.
  • Flip the loaf pan over to its normal horizontal position and sprinkle the remainder of the mozzarella on top. Transfer the loaf pan to the oven and bake at 325°F for 45 minutes until golden brown. Carefully remove the pulled pork pull-apart bread from the loaf pan and sprinkle chopped chives on top.

This pull-apart bread has it all thanks to its sweet and smoky BBQ flavor, tender pulled pork, ooey gooey melted cheese, and soft freshly-baked bread. Did pulled pork somehow just level up?!
