It has happened to everyone: you go to the frozen food section to pick up some veggies, and your eyes fall upon a package of deep-fried snacks, begging to be microwaved or baked. Why bother when you can make something at home that is just as easy, and a hundred times more delicious? Let’s face it: everything tastes better when freshly made!
Mini Cordon Bleu
Equipment
- Frying Pan
Ingredients
- 6 slices ham
- 6 Babybel cheese wheels
- flour
- bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- vegetable oil
Instructions
- Cut each slice of ham into two strips. Wrap each of the strips around one cheese wheel, making sure that the cheese is covered in ham on all sides.
- Place the flour, breadcrumbs, and eggs into three separate bowls. Roll each of the ham-wrapped cheese wheels into these ingredients in the following order: flour, egg, bread crumbs. If you prefer particularly thick breading, roll the cheese wheels once more in the egg and bread crumbs.
