Homemade Kinder Surprise Eggs
Learn how to make your own Kinder Surprise Eggs at home with this easy recipe.
Equipment
- Plastic Wrap
- Water bath
Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 8 oz milk chocolate
- 8 oz white chocolate
Instructions
- Tightly wrap each egg in plastic wrap and tape off the top (you can also hard-boil the eggs first to avoid a potential mess if they crack).
- Melt the white chocolate in a water bath, dip each egg halfway into the liquid chocolate, and let dry.
- Melt the milk chocolate in a water bath, dip each egg halfway into the liquid chocolate, and let dry.
- Cut off the extra plastic wrap at the top and carefully remove the eggs from the plastic wrap.
- Run a large knife under warm water and gently lay it on the chocolate shells to smooth out the edges.
- Gently press the shell halves together to form a full chocolate egg.
