To make a Hot Vanilla Delight, you don’t exactly need lightning reflexes, but a quick hand does help…
Hot Vanilla Delight

- Deep Fryer
Ingredients
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
- 2 slices brown bread
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- chocolate sauce
- roasted almond slices
- oil for frying
Instructions
- Remove the crust from the bread slices and roll them flat with a rolling pin.
- Scoop out a single scoop of ice cream and freeze it until it is well-hardened.
- Place the hardened scoop of ice cream on a slice of flattened bread and lay the other slice on top. Now wrap the bread around the ice cream. Freeze the ice cream wrapped in bread until it is hard before continuing with the next step.
- Prepare some hot oil and deep fry the bread-covered ice cream for 15 seconds. Now roll it in the sugar and cinnamon mix.
- Top off your fried ice cream ball with chocolate sauce and almond slices. It's ready to serve!
