Hot Dog Pizza Snack

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion
- 14 oz tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 package pizza dough
- 4 hot dogs
- 5 oz cheddar cheese, cut into finger-sized pieces
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the green pepper lightly. Add the onion and tomato sauce. Season with rosemary, garlic, sugar, salt, and pepper. Let the sauce simmer.
- Pour the sauce into a casserole dish.
- Cut the pizza dough in a zig-zag fashion to create four triangles. Remove the outer two triangles.
- Lay a hot dog at the bottom of each triangle and put a piece of cheese in front and behind it. Roll the dough up to the pointy end of the triangle. It should look a bit like a croissant.
- Put the hot dog rolls in the sauce in the casserole dish. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
