Ingredients
- 500 g pork escalopes
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 cloves garlic chopped
- 2 tsp thyme
- 3 tsp marjoram
- 1 tsp cumin
- 60 ml olive oil
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 yellow pepper chopped
- 1 red pepper chopped
- 50 g olives
- 30 g jalapeños
- 200 g cooked rice
- 50 g tomato puree
- 600 g crème fraîche
- 200 g mozzarella shredded
Instructions
- Cut the pork escalopes into strips. Mix the pork strips with the chopped onion, chopped garlic cloves, thyme, marjoram, cumin, olive oil, and lemon juice in a bowl. Heat everything in a pan.
- Fill a casserole dish with the cooked gyros and add the chopped pepper, olives, and jalapeños to it.
- Mix the cooked rice with the tomato puree and spread it over the gyros in the casserole dish. Spread on the crème fraîche and sprinkle the mozzarella on top.
- Place your Gyros Casserole in a convection oven set to 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
