Fried Egg in a Bell Pepper Ring

Shake up your morning with this ingenious idea! Fresh veggies add wonderful flavor and keep the egg beautifully contained.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 medium-sized tomato
  • 1 egg
  • to taste salt & pepper
  • to taste fresh dill

Instructions
 

  • Cut off the top and bottom of the bell pepper, remove the seeds, and cut into thick rings.
  • Melt the butter in a pan and lightly cook both sides of a bell pepper ring. Place a slice of tomato inside the ring, and pour your egg on top. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cover the pan and let cook for 10-12 minutes. Finally, season with dill and serve.
