Ingredients
- 1 loaf white bread
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 banana
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 8 oz strawberries
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 5 Ferrero Rocher chocolate balls to garnish
- white chocolate shavings to garnish
- fresh mint leaves to garnish
Instructions
- Cut the loaf of white bread into several thick slices – you'll need 5 slices for this recipe.
- Combine the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and sugar and dunk the 5 slices of bread in the mixture.
- Heat an oven-proof deep plate, grease it with butter, and arrange the 5 slices of soaked bread in a circle on the deep plate so that they overlap. Transfer the deep plate to a preheated oven and cook at 350°F for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the strawberry sauce. Remove the leaves and stems from the strawberries, cook the strawberries with the sugar and lemon juice in a pot over medium heat, and mash the mixture until smooth.
- Pass the banana and cream cheese through a ricer over the cooled French toast.
- Garnish the banana cream cheese filling in the French toast bowl with Ferrero Rocher chocolate balls, strawberry sauce, white chocolate shavings, and fresh mint leaves.
