Ferrero Rocher Dessert Bowls
Do you like to spread Nutella on your toast in the morning and eat Ferrero Rocher chocolate balls on the couch at night? Then this recipe is just the ticket, because it combines both delicacies into a delicious cream that nobody can resist — and best of all, it's served in a hard shell chocolate dessert bowl. Yummy!
Equipment
- Water bath
- Balloons
- Parchment paper
Ingredients
- 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped hazelnuts
- 3 tbsp Nutella
- 1.25 cups heavy cream
- 4 Ferrero Rocher balls, crushed
- Nutella (for decoration)
- 2 Ferrero Rocher balls (for decoration)
Instructions
- Temper the chocolate chips over a water bath. Blow up 2 balloons, dip each balloon about halfway into the tempered chocolate, and sprinkle chopped hazelnuts over the chocolate before it hardens.
- Spread some of the tempered chocolate on a piece of parchment paper and stick the balloons on the chocolate spots so that they can stand in place while the chocolate hardens.
- Mix the Nutella and heavy cream until fluffy. Crush 4 Ferrero Rocher balls and fold them into the mixture.
- Pop the balloons and carefully pull the pieces out of the chocolate bowls. Spoon the chocolate mousse into the chocolate bowls and refrigerate for 1 hour. Drizzle Nutella over the chocolate mousse in each chilled dessert bowl and garnish with 1 Ferrero Rocher ball.
