Equipment
- Pan
- Parchment paper
Ingredients
- 5 mozzarella balls
- 25 cherry tomatoes
- 2 handfuls basil leaves
- pepper to taste
- 30 bacon strips
- 2 tbsp honey
Instructions
- Cut the mozzarella balls in half lengthwise. Carefully cut an indented section out of each half and set the removed section aside.
- Slice the cut mozzarella sections into small cubes. Quarter the cherry tomatoes and cut the basil leaves into small pieces. Put all the minced ingredients in a bowl and season with pepper. Fill the hollowed-out mozzarella halves with the mixture and put the mozzarella halves back together again.
- Lay three slices of bacon next to each other horizontally so that they slightly overlap. Place three more bacon slices vertically on top of the other slices. Lay the stuffed mozzarella bomb in the middle and wrap the bacon strips around the mozzarella ball.
- Lay the bacon-wrapped bombs on a pan lined with parchment paper. Brush honey over the bacon to make it crispy. Cook for 15 minutes at 400°F in a preheated oven.
