So we’re going to come right out and say that we have all the respect in the world for the OG hamburger, but there’s something about cheeseburgers that just makes our heart skip a beat. So today, we’re going to show you a recipe that features all the elements of a classic cheeseburger but takes it in a deliciously deep-fried new direction. Find out what the hype is all about!
Fried Cheeseburger Pockets

- Plastic Wrap

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp pepper
- 1.25 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1.67 cups flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Combine the ground beef, egg, parsley, onion, paprika, salt, and pepper. Lay out a piece of plastic wrap and spread an evenly thick layer of the ground beef mixture on it.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the ground beef and use the plastic wrap to shape it into a roll. Freeze the ground beef roll for 90 minutes.
- For the batter, combine the flour, eggs, salt, and milk and mix until smooth.
- Take the ground beef roll out of the freezer and remove the plastic wrap. Cut the meat into about ½-inch thick slices.
- Heat some oil in a pan, dredge the ground beef slices in the batter, and fry them in the hot oil for about 3-4 minutes per side.
