- 1 qt heavy cream chilled
Instructions
- Whip the heavy cream with a mixer until the butter starts to separate from the buttermilk. Transfer the butter to a cheesecloth and squeeze the buttermilk out of the fat. The less moisture there is in the butter, the longer it will last.
