Ingredients
- 12 chicken drumsticks
- salt & pepper to taste
- 4 eggs
- 8 fl oz milk
- 5 tbsp cacao powder
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 7 oz flour
- 3 oz sunflower oil
- oil for frying
- 6 oz honey
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F. Place the drumsticks on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 30 minutes.
- Separate the eggs and mix the egg yolks with milk, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, flour, and sunflower oil. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff and then fold into the chocolate mixture. Coat the drumsticks in the brownie batter.
- Heat a pot of oil to 350°F and fry the coated drumsticks for 4-5 minutes.
- Warm the honey, add the seasonings, and mix well. Serve the cooled dipping sauce with the chocolate chicken and enjoy!
