If you want to dunk your cookies in milk, you can’t overdo it, otherwise you’ll be left with a soggy mess. It takes some practice, and as kids most of us lose a few cookies to the milky depths of our glass. Once you get the hang of it, though, there’s no end to the enjoyment. And when you get really good at it, you can try out recipes like this one that rely completely on that absorbent quality to create an unforgettably fluffy treat…

Course Desserts

Ingredients

  • 2.5 cup milk
  • 12 Ladyfingers
  • 0.33 cup sugar
  • 1 package pudding mix
  • 1 banana
  • whipped cream for decorating
  • cocoa for decorating

Instructions

  • Dunk the Ladyfingers in a 1/2 cup of milk for a short time, place them on plastic wrap and refrigerate for four hours.
  • Heat 2 1/4 cups of milk, add sugar and pudding mix, and cook the pudding according to the instructions on the package.
  • When the pudding has cooled, spread it onto the Ladyfingers. Peel the banana and place it over the bottom third of the Ladyfingers. Now roll the whole thing up carefully in the plastic wrap and refrigerate for one more hour.

To serve, simply cut slices from the roll and enjoy. To add an extra dimension to this fluffy sweetness, you can even fill it with chocolate pudding. But if you’re going to do that, you have to ask yourself: Can I really handle so much sweetness? 😉
