- 6 medium-sized potatoes
- 2 tsp red pepper
- 1 tsp caraway
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 tsp caraway
- 2 tsp red pepper
- 1 diced onion
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- grated mozzarella
- 3 whisked eggs
- breadcrumbs
- oil for frying
Instructions
- Place the cooked potatoes in a bowl, add the spices, and mash well.
- Cut the chicken breast into large chunks and mix with caraway, red pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a bit of oil in a pan and add the onion, peppers, garlic, and finally the chicken. Stir until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
- Add about two tablespoons of potato batter into your palm and press flat. Place a tablespoon of the chicken mix along with a pinch of mozzarella onto the batter and form into a ball.
- Coat the chicken and cheese balls in egg, followed by breadcrumbs. Now fry in a pot of hot oil until golden brown.
