Ingredients
- 1 large potato
- vegetable oil
- salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and slice the potato once lengthwise, slightly to the left or right of its center.
- Place the potato between 2 wooden spoons with the exposed side facing up and make diagonal incisions in a grid-like pattern, stopping the cut when the knife hits the wooden spoons.
- Place the potato on a baking tray, drizzle vegetable oil over it, and season with salt & pepper. Transfer the baking tray to the oven and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
