Let’s be honest: chocolate chip cookies are what get you through the day, the week, the month… your life just wouldn’t be complete without them. And as any cookie fiend will tell you, the most appealing part of any cookie is the cookie dough, which is why we’ve decided to make it the focus of these 6 scrumptious recipes that let you put it to good use.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough – Base Recipe:
- 11 oz soft butter
- 4 oz brown sugar
- 4 oz sugar
- 5 fl oz milk
- pinch of salt
- 13 oz flour
- 4 oz chocolate chips
1. Cookie Spoons
You’ll Need:
- chocolate chip cookie dough without chocolate chips
For the chocolate mousse:
- 4 oz dark chocolate
- 6 fl oz hot cream
- 11 oz whipped cream
Here’s How:
1.1 Preheat the oven to 350°F. Make the cookie dough (minus the chocolate chips) and roll it out. Place a spoon on the dough and cut out the outline with a knife. Repeat this process with the rest of the dough.
1.2 Line a sheet pan with parchment paper, place the needed number of spoons face-down on the pan, place one dough spoon on each spoon, and bake for 10 minutes.
1.3 Meanwhile, whip up the chocolate mousse by melting the chocolate in the hot cream and then folding in the whipped cream once it has cooled down. Once your cookie spoons have cooled down, feel free to dig in!
2. Chocolate Chip Cookie Tiramisu
You’ll Need:
- chocolate chip cookie dough
For the tiramisu:
- 6 cookies
- 3 fl oz black coffee, lukewarm
- 10 oz whipped cream
- 2 oz chocolate shavings
Here’s How:
2.1 Prepare the cookie dough and bake the cookies for 10 minutes at 350°F. Once the cookies have cooled, place two side-by-side in a small baking dish and pour ⅓ of the coffee on top.
2.2. Spread a layer of whipped cream over the coffee-soaked cookies. Place two more cookies on top of the cream and pour coffee over them.
2.3 Add another layer of whipped cream, followed by two more cookies, more coffee, and a final layer of whipped cream. Garnish with chocolate shavings and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
3. Chocolate Chip Cookie Soufflé
You’ll Need:
- chocolate chip cookie dough
For the chocolate ganache:
- 4 oz chocolate chips
- 4 fl oz hot cream
Here’s How:
3.1 Preheat the oven to 350°F. Prepare a portion of cookie dough and press some of the dough on the bottom and inner walls of a ramekin.
3.2 Melt the chocolate chips in the hot cream and refrigerate the chocolate ganache until it sets.
3.3 Add about a tablespoon of the chocolate ganache to the ramekin and cover with a layer of cookie dough.
3.4 Bake for 10 minutes and get ready to enjoy some ooey, gooey liquid chocolate!
4. Chocolate Chip S’more Cookies
You’ll Need:

For the s’more cookie (makes 4):
- 4 graham crackers halves
- 4 chocolate pieces
- 4 marshmallows, halved
Here’s How:
4.1 Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare the cookie dough. Assemble your s’mores on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and place a portion of cookie dough on top of each s’more.
4.2 Bake for 10 minutes and then savor your s’mookies!
5. Chocolate Chip Brookie Swirls
You’ll Need:
- chocolate chip cookie dough
For the brownie batter:
- 7 oz soft butter
- 9 oz dark chocolate
- 4 oz sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3 oz flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 oz cocoa powder
Here’s How:
5.1 Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare the cookie dough. Prepare the brownie batter by melting the chocolate and butter in a water bath. Beat the eggs and sugar together until frothy and then stir in the chocolate butter mixture. Gradually stir in the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Roll out the cookie dough and evenly spread the brownie batter over it. Roll up the dough and refrigerate for at least two hours.
5.2 Cut the roll into even slices, place the slices on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper, and bake for 10 minutes.
6. Chocolate Chip Cookie Butter
You’ll Need:
- chocolate chip cookie dough
For the cookie butter:
- 4 cookies
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 3 tbsp milk
- 2 fl oz sweetened condensed milk
Here’s How:
6.1 Prepare the cookie dough and bake the cookies for 10 minutes at 350°F. Let the cookies cool down before moving onto the next step.
6.2 Crumble the cookies and mix the crumbs with the butter, milk, and sweetened condensed milk until a chocolate cream forms. Now that’s quite a spread!
