Coffee Pot Recipes: Noodle Soup, Hot Dogs, Chocolate Fondue, and Cake
If you thought coffee machines were just for making coffee, then you've been missing out on a whole other world of fancy cuisine! Believe it or not, coffee pots are the perfect vessels for whipping up some easy, gourmet, budget-friendly, and — most importantly delicious — snacks, meals, and desserts.
Equipment
- Coffee Pot
Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 piece of celery root
- 1 carrot
- 1 leek
- 7 juniper berries
- 1 bay leaf
- 9 whole allspice
- 3 oz vermicelli, broken into small pieces
- 1 tbsp salt
- 4 hot dogs
- 4 hot dog buns
- 8 oz milk chocolate, chopped
- 4 tsp flour
- 2 tsp almond flour
- 2 tsp sugar
- 4 tsp melted butter
- 1 pinch baking powder
- 0.5 egg
- 5 oz powdered sugar
Instructions
- Peel and chop the onion, celery root, carrot, and leek and place the scraps in the filter basket of the coffee machine. Add the bay leaf, juniper berries, and whole allspice, and close the basket. Dice the rest of the carrot, celery root, and leek and place them in the coffee pot together with the vermicelli and salt. Fill the water tank with water and turn on the machine. Leave the machine on until the noodles are soft and enjoy your homemade soup!
- Put the hot dogs in the coffee pot, fill the water tank with water, and turn on the machine. Once the hot dogs have cooked, remove the coffee pot from the machine and set them aside for now. Cut and fold a piece of aluminum foil and put it on the hot plate of the coffee machine. Open the hot dog buns and place them facedown on the aluminum foil one at a time to toast. Remove the hot dogs from the coffee pot and dry them off with a paper towel. Put the dried hot dogs in the toasted buns and garnish with ketchup, mustard, pickles slices, and crispy fried onions.
- Fill half a glass bowl with warm water from the coffee machine's water tank. Add the chopped chocolate to another glass bowl and place this bowl inside the bowl with warm water to melt the chocolate. Keep stirring the chocolate until it's completely melted. Dip a strawberry into the chocolate and savor the world's fastest and easiest fondue recipe!
- Stir the flour, sugar, melted butter, baking powder, and half an egg in a small heat-resistant, greased container until a smooth dough forms. Cover the container, turn on the coffee machine (make sure the water tank is empty), and let the cake cook on the hot plate for 90 minutes to 2 hours. The cake is done once a clean toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Leave the container on the hot plate, but remove the lid. Put the powdered sugar in the filter basket and no more than 2 tbsp in the water tank. Once the coffee machine is turned on, the homemade icing will run down onto the cake. Once the icing has set, carefully remove the cake from the container and enjoy!
