Is fried food your jam? Do you just love biting into a crispy snack only to discover a surprise filling? Are you seriously craving some cheese right now? If you answered yes to any of these, then these 3 scrumptious stuffed & fried triangles – or “fryangles,” if you will – are calling your name!

1. Buffalo Fried Chicken Triangles

You’ll Need:

  • 2 cooked chicken breasts, shredded
  • ⅔ cup cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp chili sauce or hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp chives
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 3 tortillas
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 cups corn flakes
  • 3 whisked eggs for the egg wash
  • oil for frying

Here’s How:

1.1 Mix the shredded chicken with cream cheese, chili sauce, chives, garlic, and paprika.

1.2 Mix the flour and water to create an edible paste.

1.3 Cut a tortilla in half and coat one corner with the paste. Fold the halved tortilla into a triangle and fill it with about 2 tablespoons of the buffalo chicken mixture. Brush the paste over the top of the triangle and seal it shut. Repeat 5 more times with the rest of the ingredients.

1.4 Dredge the triangles in egg and corn flakes and fry in hot oil until golden brown.

2. Philly Cheesesteak Triangles

You’ll Need:

  • 10 oz steak
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 3 tortillas
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 slices of provolone
  • oil for frying

Here’s How:

2.1 Cut the steak into slices and cook them in some oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the meat has browned, add the diced peppers, onion, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper and once everything has cooked through, remove from heat and set aside.

2.2 Mix the flour and water to create an edible paste. Cut a tortilla in half, coat one corner with the paste, place a triangle of provolone in the middle, and fold the tortilla into a triangle. Repeat 5 more times.

2.3 Fill each triangle with about 2 tablespoons of the Philly cheesesteak mixture, brush the paste over the top of the triangle, and seal it shut. Fry the triangles in hot oil until golden brown.

3. Hawaiian Toast Triangles

You’ll Need:

  • 6 slices of white bread
  • ¾ cup diced ham
  • ¾ cup pineapple tidbits
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella
  • 3 whisked eggs for the egg wash

Here’s How:

3.1 Mix the diced ham, pineapple tidbits, and shredded cheese together and cut the crusts off the bread slices.

3.2 Add a spoonful of the Hawaiian toast mixture to the middle of a slice of bread, fold the bread over, and seal the edges shut. Repeat 5 more times with the rest of the ingredients.

3.3 Dredge the triangles in egg and cook on both sides in a pan over medium heat until golden brown.
