Equipment
- Wooden Skewers
Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 6-8 cups plain corn flakes
- oil for frying
- 5 slices whole wheat bread
- 8 oz guacamole
- 8 slices chicken breast
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 5 slices white bread
- 12 slices brie
- 1 1/3 cups cranberry sauce
- 12 slices bacon
- 1 pear, sliced
- 5 slices white bread
- 8 eggs for 4 small omelets
- 4 slices ham
- 4 slices gouda cheese
- 8 oz herb cream cheese
Instructions
- Toast 5 slices of whole wheat bread. Place one of the pieces of toast in front of you and spread guacamole on top. Then put 2 slices of chicken deli meat, 1 slice of cheddar cheese, and 2 slices of red bell pepper on top. Spread another slice of toast with guacamole and put it guacamole side down on top of the rest. Spread the other side with guacamole once again and then stack everything one after the other until all the ingredients are gone. Push 4 wooden skewers through the sandwich tower and cut it into 4 equal pieces. To make the next step easier, freeze the sandwich kabobs for a bit. Dip the skewers in whisked egg, coat them in crushed corn flakes, and fry in hot oil.
- Toast 5 slices of white bread and spread cranberry sauce over the first piece. Put 3 slices of brie, 3 slices of bacon, and 2 thin slices of pear on top. Continue layering the toast, cranberry sauce, brie, bacon, and pear slices until all the ingredients are used up. Stick 4 wooden skewers through the stacked sandwich tower and cut it into 4 individual skewers. Dip them in whisked eggs, coat them in crushed corn flakes, and fry in hot oil.
- Make 4 small omelets and toast 5 slices of white bread. Spread herb cream cheese on one of the toast slices and stack 1 slice of ham, 1 small omelet, and 1 slice of gouda cheese on top. Now spread another slice of toast with cream cheese and place it upside down on top of the rest. Continue layering until all the ingredients are gone. Stick 4 wooden skewers through the stacked sandwich tower and cut into 4 pieces. Dip the skewers in whisked eggs, coat in crushed corn flakes, and fry in hot oil.

Are you salivating? Because we definitely are! The crushed corn flakes make these sandwich kabobs extra crunchy. As per usual, you can get creative with these and use other ingredients. How about giving it an Italian twist and using tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and pesto? Or maybe goat cheese and figs for a Mediterranean vibe? In any case, we dig these, and you will, too!
