Black food? That doesn’t necessarily mean that it is burned! In fact, you can garnish delicious meals, snacks, and side dishes in a dark coat and not only conjure up something delicious, but also create a special visual effect. If the Grim Reaper had a favorite dish, it would definitely be one of these.
Black Burgers
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp milk
- 3.5 fl oz lukewarm water
- 1 oz fresh yeast
- 10 oz flour
- 1 egg
- 1.5 oz soft butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp squid ink
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp milk
- black sesame seeds
Instructions
- Mix sugar, milk, and lukewarm water. Add fresh yeast and let it dissolve. Combine flour, egg, soft butter, salt, and squid ink. Mix well and let the dough rise.
- Shape the dough into buns and let them rise again. Brush with egg yolk and milk mixture. Sprinkle black sesame seeds on top.
- Bake the buns in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes or until done.

- 7 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 1 scraped vanilla bean
- black food coloring
- 10 oz whipped cream
- white chocolate, chopped
